School Day

Our gates open at 8.40am until 8.50am.

There is always a member of staff  from the year group on each of the school gates. 

Nursery gate : Reception Children and Nursery Children ( Reception Children will move on to the Windsor gate when the staff feel they are ready, usually January after Christmas break) 

Windsor Close gate : Year 1 & Year 2 children

Holly Grove Lane gate : Year 3 & Year 4 - Year 5 & Year 6 children can also enter this gate.(Please note: Year 5/6 staff are only on Ironstone Road gate)

Ironstone Road gate : Year 5 & Year 6 

The gates close promptly at 8.50am. 

The children have a soft start where they come in put their things away and go into their classes and start a morning activity until the register and lunch register is taken.

There is a 15 minute break in the morning - year groups decide on the timing.

Lunchtime is 45 minutes. 

Reception - 12 - 12.45pm

Year 1 & 2 - 12.15 - 1pm

Year 3/4/5/6 - 12.45 - 1.30pm

End of the day is 3.20pm.

Nursery and Reception are collected from Nursery gate

Year 1 & 2 are collected from KS1 playground - accessed from Windsor Close gate

Year 3/4/5/6 are collected from KS2 playground - accessed from Ironstone Road gate.
