A team of enthusiastic Year 5 and 6 pupils represented Holly Grove at a lively 5‑a‑side football competition hosted at Chasetown Football Club. It was a fantastic afternoon filled with teamwork, determination and plenty of excitement.

Our team played five matches in total and secured a well‑earned win. The children faced some very strong opponents throughout the competition, but they showed great resilience, sportsmanship and effort in every game.

When they weren’t on the pitch, the pupils took part in a fast‑paced shooting challenge, scoring an impressive 19 points in just five minutes. This brilliant result placed them second overall in the competition. They also enjoyed having a go at table tennis, adding even more fun to the day.

At the end of the event, every child received a certificate and an Easter egg to celebrate their hard work and participation.

Well done to all of our players for representing Holly Grove so proudly and giving their all. What a brilliant experience for everyone involved.
