Year 3 Forest School Adventure at Birches Valley

Year 3 had a fantastic day out at Birches Valley, where they took part in a wide range of exciting Forest School activities. The children enjoyed den building, bug hunting, and playing lots of Forest School games that encouraged teamwork, creativity, and exploration.

One of the highlights of the day was using iPads to take nature photographs, which will be used as part of our evidence towards achieving the Platinum Green Tree Award—a wonderful way to combine technology with outdoor learning.

The children also got creative with clay artwork, inspired by the natural surroundings, and had the chance to express themselves through imaginative play and hands-on experiences.

It was a really great day, filled with learning, laughter, and adventure. Well done to all the children for their enthusiasm and brilliant behaviour throughout the trip!
