Year 3 Discover the Joy of Reading at Burntwood Library!
Year 3 enjoyed an exciting trip to Burntwood Library this week, designed to spark curiosity and nurture a lifelong love of reading. The children explored everything the library has to offer and learned how it can be a fantastic resource for families.
Every child had the chance to join the library and even borrow a book to take home, giving them a wonderful opportunity to continue reading for pleasure outside of school. They explored the different areas of the library, with the children’s section proving to be a favourite! Shelves filled with colourful stories and fascinating facts captured their imaginations.
Pupils also discovered how the borrowing machines work and learned about the many other services available to families. It was a hands-on experience that showed how easy and fun it is to access books locally.
We encourage parents to make the most of this brilliant resource. A family visit to Burntwood Library is a great way to share stories together and inspire a love of reading that lasts a lifetime.
Thank you to Burntwood Library for welcoming us – Year 3 can’t wait to return!
