Remembrance Assembly – Honouring the Brave

Today, our school came together for a reflective and respectful Remembrance Assembly. All of our pupils observed a minute’s silence with great maturity, taking time to remember those who have served and sacrificed in wars past and present.

It was especially moving to see so many children proudly wearing their uniforms from Rainbows, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Girl Guides, and Girls’ Brigade. Their presence helped us all to reflect on the importance of remembering the bravery and dedication of those who fought for our freedom.

A special well done goes to Charlie, who represented our school at the Chase Terrace Remembrance Day Parade on Sunday. Charlie had the honour of reading out the names of fallen soldiers from World War I—a truly meaningful and respectful contribution to the community’s commemorations.

We are incredibly proud of all our pupils for the calm, thoughtful, and respectful way they marked this important occasion.
