Charity Children

We have had some very resourceful and caring children who have not only just thought something was sad but decided to actually do something about it.

Three Year 6 children Kody, Esme and Alicia were upset about the recent fires that occurred at Gentleshaw common. They were really concerned about the animals that had been harmed or died in the fires. They found out that Staffordshire Wildlife Trust were looking after some of the injured animals and decided to fundraise to help them. They set up a stationary shop on the KS2 playground and raised over £150 for the sick and injured animals! Well done!

Florence, Freya and Olivia wanted to help lost and abandoned dogs, who don't have anyone to look after them. So they raised money by having a stall at the Summer Fair. They raised £60 for the Max and George Dog Trust. Well done.

We are so proud of you all! Torch values in action.
